We are proud to announce that The Academy at St. James have won the West Yorkshire Sports Premium most active school award! We are absolutely thrilled with this award and thank Mr O'Brien and all our staff for their hard work.
Following our OFSTED inspection on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th May - our school is very proud and privileged to say we are rated as GOOD with OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT.

On Thursday 26^th May, the whole school celebrated and reflected on Ascension Day. This day is very important in the Christian calendar and is 40 days since Jesus rose again on Easter Sunday.

The worship council led us in this celebration and then to show our understanding of this all the pupils in school blew bubbles to symbolise Jesus rising back up to see his Father.

It was a beautiful service led by our pupils and gave us time to reflect and pause for a moment.
