‘Only the Brave’- Y6

What an exciting Autumn term in 6BB! We have been continuing our theme of ‘Only the Brave’ and have been exploring bravery in different ways.
In History we have looked at inspirational people across history and how their bravery enabled change to happen. Mr Lowd has helped us to use the outdoor area of our school to develop our maths knowledge based around nature. We have learnt about native trees and birds which can be found within our local community. A brand new skill which we have been learning is French. We have been learning about French food and drink, this learning was shown to great effect in our French Cafe. We used our newly developed French skills to take orders and serve guests. It has been an action packed term and we are looking forward to recharging our batteries over the half term ready to begin again in January.
