Year 3/4 Week 3
Welcome back! We hope you have enjoyed a peaceful Easter break, and been able to make the most of the sunny weather we’ve had. Thank you to those of you to have kept in contact with us and shared photos.
Below are some examples of creative and fun looking ideas taken from our Easter menu. It looks like many of you have started to explore our Ancient Greek theme by dressing up, doing research and tasting traditional food!
As we start a new term, we would like to thank you for all of your efforts with Home Learning. It is a challenging time, and we really appreciate everything that you are doing. Please keep sharing your learning with us, and ask questions using Class Dojo, Google Classroom and our email addresses. Most importantly, remember to look after yourselves and those you care about.
Our English focus in both our writing and reading is going to link to our new Whole Class Reading book… Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone!
Words of the Week – all of our new vocabulary will be read in the opening pages of Harry Potter. Scan to find when they appear in the text! Challenge – find and write your own definition of each word, and use them in your own sentences. We would love to see you act out or create drawings that illustrate what they mean, too!
Art- Week 1
Please create animal Zentangle art work. Here are some examples to give you some ideas.
This half term we will be learning about States of matter (solids, liquids and gases)
Please find a link which has been sent by Miss Varley to support your child’s learning of music at home.
