Ascension Day
The whole school celebrated and reflected on Ascension Day. This day is important in the Christian calendar as it marks the end of the Easter period.
The observance is based on the account in Acts 1:3, which states that the risen Jesus appeared for 40 days before His Ascension.
The worship council led us in this celebration and then to show our understanding of this all pupils in school blew bubbles to symbolise Jesus rising back up to see his Father.
It was a beautiful service led by our pupils and gave us time to reflect and pause for a moment.
