Families
We work collaboratively with parents to ensure they understand the curriculum we are trying to deliver. We do this in a number of ways such as;
- Half termly curriculum newsletters
- Half termly overview of the curriculum
- Text messages, tweets and our facebook page
- Invitations to parents to our ‘grand finales’ for all parents
- Workshops on reading, maths and writing
- Our Parental Involvement Worker engages with parents on a number of projects
- We engage with NESSIE, Emerge and Cafe West to ensure the parents can be supported
