Whole school trip to the seaside...
After months of planning and apprehension, tide watching and facility checking, six coaches arrived at our school gates to transport everyone to Lytham St. Annes beach for the day.
Our students had great fun building sandcastles, playing cricket and participating in a whole school photograph (no easy feat), it was then decided to go on an adventure to try and reach the sea... some of our shorter legs only just managed to get then when the whistle sounded for everyone to return to the beach for ice creams.
Overall, the weather remained kind, and the day was filled with fun and memorable moments, including the ice cream seller who served 348 ice creams. On the whole a successful day and not too daunting to consider - same time next year?
