Dear everyone at The Academy at St. James,

A warm welcome to our school on behalf of the children, staff and governors.

At The Academy at St. James, we aim for the highest quality of education for all our pupils.  We actively seek to promote a happy, caring and stimulating environment, in which children enjoy learning, are encouraged to do their best and where everyone feels valued and recognised.  In our school there is a strong commitment to the welfare and well-being of children.

We are a Diocesan sponsored school with a predominantly Christian ethos, however, we actively support the development of all learners faith and spirituality, whatever faith, tradition or culture they might belong to.

Our staff are committed to working in partnership with parents and carers.  We know that close links between home and school are crucial and together we will strive to enable our children to reach their full potential.

We are proud of our school and the high standards of behaviour and learning which our children achieve.
