Reception – School Milk

Until now, Bradford Local Authority has funded the cost of milk for all children in Reception. From next term, starting Tuesday 5th September, children who are already five years old, or who will be five before 22nd December 2017, will no longer receive free school milk. If your child’s 5th birthday is after the 22nd December 2017, then milk will be provided free of charge next term.

If you would like your child to continue to have school milk, they will receive a 189ml carton of fresh chilled whole milk each school day, to drink mid-morning. The cost of this milk is 19p per day, payable in advance for the following full term. Parents will be able to order and pay for school milk using a simple online process, instead of ordering it through the school office.

To order school milk for your child, you will need to register online at www.schoolmilkuk.co.uk . Once you have registered, there is no need to register again. The process of ordering and paying for your child’s milk is quick and easy.

Simply log on to the website, www.schoolmilkuk.co.uk and select the pink tab titled Parent, click on register and then fill in the relevant boxes with your details.

Each Friday, FP School Milk will notify us which children should receive milk the following week, so we can ensure your child receives their milk.

Please pay for milk at least one week before the beginning of a new term to ensure that milk is supplied from the first day of the term.

Please note that you should only register if you pay for your child’s milk; if you are in receipt of benefits which qualify your child for free school meals, please speak to the school office as milk may be free.

Years 1 – 6 School Milk

We have introduced changes to the way milk is ordered. Our new school milk provider is FP School Milk UK Ltd.  From 5th September 2017, parents will be able to order and pay for school milk using a simple online process, instead of ordering it through the school office.
