Culture Day 2022
On Friday 25th March we held a ‘Culture day’- this was a day dedicated to celebrating the wonderful, diverse cultures in our school community. Each Key stage focused on a country where different activities happened to develop their understanding.
Children were invited to come into school in non-uniform which proudly represented their own culture. We would asked children/ families to share their own stories about their own lives and culture. Many parents gave us an interesting insight into their culture and heritage, which included some parents coming into school to help make foods which relate to their culture and some parents came in traditional dress and spoke about their lives. It was so fantastic to learn how many languages are spoken by our children in school!
