World Book Day 2022

World Book Day

 

World Book day was a huge success at the Academy St James. We had a visit from Bradford Story bus, all children took home a new reading book and the children engaged in some amazing activities.

In Year 1 and 2 the children were continuing the theme of Dragons and made Dragon claws as well as some fantastic art work.

In Year 3 and 4 the children used the film Jumanji as a stimulus and made board games aswell as some amazing scenery boxes.

In Year 5 and 6 we looked at the Chronicles of Narnia and the children made Turkish delight, made stop frame animations and drew some amazing lion paintings.

The day was a huge success!
